An excellent, entertaining game. Fisher looked like they would settle for a draw, but played for it by keeping the pace up and frustrating a lively Lewes side. Some good counter-attacking play by the visitors and some determined, fast attacking when they went behind. I reckon if Lewes had scored earlier than the 86th minute, Fisher might have pulled one back.

An excellent result for the Rooks - and just as good for Newport County.

just over 1,000, fisher were worth a point i think but we are top of the league and that sums it up, a few albion old school there last night in the crowd ie pump house crew!!!!!

Think the crowd was more than what was quoted but who am I to say what it was. Also saw two of the Albion old school as well, didn't get to speak to them though.

i reckon lewes will be good compition for the albion when it comes to choice of games next season
also i noticed quite a lot of youth at the game from seaford and newhaven .
