There was no drinking on the terraces last time and the bar windows were also covered if I remember correctly. Which is a big shame as the only fun in pre-season games is drinking far too much in the sun and laughing at the poor quality on show

There are rules about drinking alcohol in matches involving league clubs even if it's a friendly. Apparently no alcohol can be drunk in view of the pitch, hence the windows being blacked out.

I think they had to cover the windows as well. I got there late and didn't notice
