I never realised how near Lewes actually where to conference.

Now lets say Lewes do make it to the conference are LDC going to muck them around like they have us. Whats going to happen when they start gettting crowds of 1,000+ where are people going to park. Lewes is going to be jammed packed.

Now would'nt it be a good idea if a smaller club could ground share with us @ Falmer? I dont know what you think about that.

It would not only solve Lewes FC problems for the future but also save our money so why the f*** do LDC keep screwing around grrrrrrrr it makes me so angry and what is such an exciting day.

I think their ground is not of league standard....a thread by Lord Brakkers.

If Falmer was on the horizon, they could groundshare, and then not invite any LDC wankers to their games.....excellent

When Lewes are playing and BHA are not we should all go to watch them. And maybe then the LDC loonies would realise that Falmer is not so bad a place for a stadium afterall:shootself

2009 is hen Lewes get in the Football League...FA say Dripping Pan is not fit enough for League 2 so they groundshare with us!

You know it makes sense!

It would make sense to everyone other than LDC!

Lewes need to do a lot of work to improve the Dripping Pan. The biggest obstacle has been the scale of the project, not the attitude of Lewes District Council. I'm not sure what the funding situation is at the moment, although I do know that external funding is available from sources like the Football Foundation's Stadium Improvement Fund.

By the time Falmer is built, the Dripping Pan will be up to Conference standards, so the question of groundsharing with the Albion won't arise. Besides which, Lewes FC draw most of their support from Lewes town itself - so playing games at Falmer will be much less convenient for fans who currently walk to matches.

Lewes were denied access to the play-offs last season because of the state of the ground. If it happens again this year, then they'll just have to repeat their performance and qualify in 2007. No reason why they shouldn't.

If LDC said there is no money for Ground improvment it proves to me that they are even bigger Wa*k$£s.

The money being wasted fighting us could be and should be going Lewes FC.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I dont beleive this. What a joke.

What does irritate me is the way the Argus and Southern Counties Radio give far greater coverage to Eastbourne Borough than to the mighty Rooks.

It's frankly SHOCKING that it's taken two seasons of success for people like adrian29uk to wake up to the fact that Lewes are so close to qualifying for the Conference.

I hope Eastbourne Borough survive the drop, though.

I take it that the play-offs are over two legs, if they were i would consider going to the home tie if it didn't clash with the cricket
