Lewes & Boro

Every time I go to the Dripping Pan, I'm struck by the fact that Rooks fans are still keeping the old rivalry with Worthing going.

The teams could be three divisions apart next season.

Worthing playing like a county league team atm, so could be four in a few years if we don't improve next season, as this season is just about a respectful finish now.

Horsham
As a Worthing fan, i despise Lewes, so will plump for Eastbourne to win the league

Take out Worthing and replace in Horsham for me.

Well, I actually don't despise any Sussex teams, good to see them doing well.

Just makes me laugh sometimes when I see the attitude of some of those Lewes supporters. Only a few years ago they were crap and now they look down their noses at everyone and have a really bad arrogance about them.

I for one won't be feeling sorry for them when the money dries up and they swiftly return to where they came from!

that is true - steve king seems to give it the big one every season, and in the past when they werent getting results he would always blame everything bar himself - mainly the referee. they used to get all these big name players in, no doubt on big money, and play them about twice, and the arrogance some of their fans seem to have is unbelievable

i want boro to win the title as they have gone about it the right way - not by signing thousands of players a season, but by building themselves up from county league to potential conference team

i think most fans of non league sides in sussex would much rather see boro take the title

Not Luton! Thank God
I don't really mind who goes up as long as one of them does (hopefully both).

Here's a question though. If you're an Albion fan, when do stop wanting them to win and start fearing them as rivals? (unless of course you already treat them as rivals)

If its goals you want, rather than paying £25 to watch Albion, you could watch Boro who have 3 home games this week for roughly the same price £9.50 x3
Last 3 games have been 6-0 4-1 and 3-0

I learned something about my family the other day. My uncle was, apparently, manager of Lewes in the 1970s - not that I can find any record of him ever having done so. Perhaps any Lewesians might be able to help out - Paul 'Geordie' Howieson.
