Yep, in my humble opinion anyone who uses that poxy phrase is a collossal ring piece.

Its because they do it as the norm on a nightly basis and then need to deflect their own bladder issues onto the rest of us

I would've thought that players are more expensive to get at the transfer window's end?every club desperate and paying over the odds for average players.The club should've targeted 5 players in June/July and got them...leaving it so late is a handicap

I agree with your sentiments and also would like to highlight that we don't have buy expensive players that fit the bill, part of the scouting process is seek out the unknown or unidentified talent from lower league s, we don't even have any of these. A poor showing thus far on recruitment.

As for transfers, the arrivals in the next 3 weeks will define the perception of Bloom/Barber/Burke for some considerable time to come. If Buckley goes, bang goes another rarity in the squad - one of the few remaining players, if not the last, with pace, a potential match winner or creator, who get fans on their feet. Noone, Buckley, Vicente, LuaLua, Bridge, Orlandi (when fit) all of that ilk.
