To be honest I cna't believe the ticket office didn't deliver my letter by hand, after all I have been to West Ham, Tottenham and Villa of late.

There really is nothing to worry about.

Even if you are priority 1 I understand that they are staggering the mail out so as to not get inundated on one day from people trying to book seats.

Somebody has to go first. Each briefing will only hold so many people so it's a case of wait and see which one you get on.

The thing is that over 2000 people have already bought 1901 tickets and a lot of these are existing season ticket holders. As we only have 4000 STH now it is fair to say that everyone will get a seat and as every seat is top notch there is little to worry about.

As for 1+3. Tell me, how many people do you know that are going to bring 3 'new' people along? I know about 14 or 15 STH and between us we are going to add 6 new people. There are so many seats to go round it will not be a problem. Is it fair that those 6 jump the queue? If they were stealing current STH holder's seats then the answer would be yes. But as there is no shortage and nor will there be then the question is mostly irrelevant.

I'm just happy we have a home at all. Sitting anywhere in it is a bonus.

Oh, and no, I haven't had my letter yet and yes I am a 9yr+ man.

It'll be fine. They have to do it some way and whichever way they do it would cause problems.

It'll work out.

Maybe there was something that happened in Brighton last week that could have caused the post to be delayed? No, on second thoughts probably the club at fault. Bastards.

I don't think anyone's blaming the club.

Got mine on friday and booked the appointment on today for 17th Jan. Slots are being held in block order so if you haven't received yours yet don't worry the club appear to know your place in the queue regardless of when you recieve your invite.

I'm not sure that's true - people from D block seem to have been given anything from mid-jan to mid-feb.

The club in the past have managed to annoy/completely piss off a lot of supporters because of their sometimes shambolic handling of ticket allocations for 'big' games but it is now quite obvious why there has been such a delay in starting the Amex Season Ticket scramble. They appear to have put considerable effort into trying to make sure that everybody is treated fairly and their system appears to be working so far.
