The way people are speaking about our first half performance against the wall and the stand out performances of our midfield of O Irish,Hammond and the frenchman..also not to forget coxy........all sounds great.

Ive not seen us this season...so what could happen, season wise?

Hinshelwood coming back from injury and the fact the loan window is open...would it be fair to say..that if we can bring in 1 or maybe two quality loans in...we could challenge for play-offs?

Im sure Wilkins wants a number one or at a minimum someone to contest the number one position...but what else do we need....?

Maybe one more creative midfielder? Or a forward?

The more the better...right wing in my mind could still do with a new face?

We'll need to secure our latest on-loan additions for the full season

Yet to be convinced by this new french bloke, took his goal very well but not seen much else. If he is decent then the rw could be ok. LW is no worries providing cox stays fir and preforms like vs millwall. Defence looks alright although a decent left back wouldnt go a miss. Rents is one for future , lynch is better centre back and seems injury prone. Up front Forster is looking better with every game. I think we mightbe ok up there with a firing midfield.

If we keep this midfield for the season then the play-offs is defo possible, however I get the feeling we will wait to long and O'Callghan will go to a better club than ours. Defence is now solid and Forster is looking good enough with either Bas or Revell. We do need another keeper to challanger Kuipers but other than that I would keep it as it is.

Let's not get carried away, but...

...give Wilkins two games to get it right or else one week...

...and talk about the play-offs the next.

I personally dont think he's the man for the job for numerous reasons..but if we get results...then job done....and no1 has anything to moan about.

I saw most of the trash that was dished up last term and was very dissapointed with what I had to pay to see trash....by the sounds of things...the first few games were pretty much on the same level.....but with what I have read about the millwall performance and considering the new additions maybe it will turn around, hense why Im asking peoples opinions.

If we had lost to southend...which we nearly did and lost to millwall...most people..even the fence sitters would have been swaying towards another relegation season..which in turn isnt on...

So excuse me for not completely going mad over a good win....but If it continues and the new faces have stepped the squad onto a new levell and wilkins learns from his mistakes then im more than happy...even estatic to be able to eat my words and say I WAS WRONG.....

Let's get carried away for a bit, eh?

We aren't Man U or Arsenal so a rare winning streak is something that really lifts me as a Brighton fan.

I don't know about anyone else but the win on Friday and the manner of the win really made my weekend. Let me indulge in my footie fantasies.
