I'm chuffed its peeing it down since I start work in about 3 hours and the more it rains the less people in the city centre causing me grief.

Yes a nice little earner (overtime) for some boys in blue I would imagine?
I was told there was a massive Police presence this year. Who pays for all the policing for this parade?

Why do people say homophobia comes from people that are insecure about their sexuality? Where is the logic in that?

Google 'internalised homophobia' - its fairly well researched and proven at this stage. Some of the most vicious opponents of the gay rights in the US (Mark Foley, Larry Craig), Northern Ireland (Paul Berry MLA) and so on have been caught with their trousers down, so to speak.

What experiences have you had? :dunce:

His experience doesn't need to be debated. State funded research has shown that he's entirely accurate. Homosexual males have the highest level of education about STIs of any grouping and additionally have the highest level of use of barrier protection

View Publication I believe has the charts in it, if not its in section 1 - I've no PDF reader on this PC at the minute.

I don't really care about the research, I was asking him about his experiences thank you very much.

please, tell us how you can say this? representative of the whole gay community, worldwide.

I said "in my experience", which includes encounters both homo- and hetero-sexual (although the heterosexual ones were about 10 years ago), and friends of both persuasions. Perhaps you can show me the part where I claimed my point pertained to the worldwide gay community?

Of all the friends I have, I know of only three who have ever caught an STI. All of them got it through heterosexual intercourse.

Got it to open... additionally, that survey found a direct link between homophobia and (lack of) education, hadn't noticed that the first time I skimmed over it.

"facts" you mean

State research institution did the survey. Would have no reason to skew the results, plus the sample data is available and provided, complete with full statistical analysis.

So, facts not "facts". Head in the sand to deny its not true.

state research..

Economic & Social Research Institute, yes.

Explain to me why the state would have reason to twist the results of a sexual health survey to make it apparent that gays are better educated and have better practices in sexual health when they have, and do to this day, villianise gay men as being the source of HIV, ban them from blood, bone marrow and organ donation, etc. Considering to serve their purposes the report would have to say the absolute opposite. Go on, I dare you.
