Where's the best place to get them? Most balloon packs I've seen have got all different colours in.

I went to a shop in Southampton called "Just For Fun".

50 Blue and White balloons for £6.

That's 12p each. If you buy them from a wholesaler (should be in the Yellow Pages) you should be able to get them for about 4p or 5p each (ie, a fiver for a hundred), depending on quantity.

You might have to sneak them in.
I seem to remember that, a couple of seasons ago, Ballonboy had to spend 20 minutes or so convincing the Safety Officer at Swindon that the ballons he wanted to take into the ground were not a safety hazard i.e he was not planning to fill them with water and chuck them at the opposing fans.

Absolutely right. My advice, if you are aiming to enter the ground with large quantities of balloons, is to share them out amongst mates, and conceal them well:) Hopefully this time round they'll be a little less up-tight about it, seeing as they've allowed the Giant Flag. Some clubs really get on my t!ts, though - ie, Stoke City not allowing Aldershot to take their drums for the Conference Play Off final.
