Have just found out today that he has passed away. For all of you that have not heard of him, he was a coach for the youngsters. Always was a very approachable and honest man. I believe the funeral is on Thursday next week. My thoughts and prayers go to his wife and family...

Knew him quite well, as he was a very good friend of my godfather.

Absolutely lovely bloke who cared for the club a great deal. He will be greatly missed.

RIP Les.

I couldn't have pictured Les, but I do recognise that face and used to see him about Withdean Stadium on a matchday.

Clearly had a lot of time for the club.

Thoughts are with his family and friends.

High up on the South Downs.
I knew him and his brother when I was very young as they lived nearby. He was a kind, authoritative and very impressive young fellow then. It's no surprise that he became such an excellent coach of young players.
This is very sad news. A great loss.
Sympathy for his family and loved ones.

I'm behind you!
This is one hell of a shock. Had many conversations with this lovely man who ate, drunk and dreamed of football. We were so lucky at the Albion to be the recipients of his talent for spotting potential stars of football.

My deepest sympathy goes out to his family.

Although i've never heard of him, i've seen many people say how he was such a nice man and how he was a very loyal servant to the club. Not nice seeing someone involved with the club pass away so suddenly, My thoughts are with his friends and family. R.I.P

There isn't much loyalty in football , but one Huge Asset to Brighton And Hove Albion was Les Rogers himself , a clearly passionate gentleman to the club and to the game itself. his knowledge will be missed , his attitude towards all the players especially as this proved to be the key in so many players success. a legend never to be forgotton . RIP LES
