Spoke to Leon's family after the game and his dad said that Leon is meeting Olly today about a possible move to Rangers.

I told him that we all thought that Leon was something special when he played for us and that it sickened me to the core to see yet another quality striker who comes from a family of QPR fans scoring for another team.

His dad wants Leon to play in a team that plays passing football and he wasn't impressed with our hoofing tactics. I explained that all our creative players were injured and with Gallen by his side the ball would be played on the ground.

There is also an issue of wages and that he wants a fair deal for his son. I said that was fair enough and that Leon is a 20+ striker and that Rangers should do all they can to sign him.He also doesn't want Leon to play on the wing like he did when he was on loan at Rangers. I said that on his recent performances there is no way Olly would put him on the wing he would be our star striker.

In the end Knight will make his decision on

Whos got more potential
Whose got the better ground
Who will pay the better wages

Same as us when we all look for a new job, and on two of these items we are level pegging.

I'm never impressed when hoofing becomes the "tactics" - although how anyone can think that hoofing can be tactical is beyond me.

Sign Kanchelskis and Leon's fears will disappear.

Just received a text message from the Brighton press releases and it states

Brighton have made an offer to Chelsea for on-loan striker Leon Knight and discussions are ongoing with his agent.

It's being sorted as we type

old news.

Brighton will put their offer to him, but the agent's not stupid, they will talk to other interested parties. If We are up against QPR I cannot see us standing much of a chance, they are a much bigger club than us, better tradition, better stadium and Knight's family support them.
