Leon Knight is a legend. He's the greatest player we've ever had and the likes of Ward, Zamora, Horton, Lawrenson, Cook, Webb, etc are just second-rate no-hopers who were not fit to lace The Great One's boots. If clueless Magoo hadn't had sold him we'd have been promoted never mind relegated. We'll never see his like again and I doubt if a better player will ever play for us, it was a massive honor for us to have him wear the stripes. Not only that but he was a fantastic figure off the pitch as well; generous, kind-hearted, witty and humble and easily the most popular figure ever to walk into the Albion dressing room. Truly we were not worthy.
(Just thought I'd put the completely opposite view to the one I wrote the last time I saw a thread on this!)
