and who is virgo?>

effort over the season has been good, no one sees it as they are all cumming over virgo even when he is poor.

goals this season may have something to do with no service and not playing along side a striker who can play a simple through ball

Just been on Readings site and they seem very keen on him.

How can you say that on Readings site they are keen on him? They said they have had no contact.

Well, I for one will miss him if he goes. Lets see how well he does alongside Claridge.

Leon Knight - top man as far as I'm concerned.

I think nis work rate over the last few games has been very good but his attutude stinks i can see why MM dropped him saturday he would have struggle against the hammers defence Claridge and Virgo made life hard for them

Signing claridge and selling Knight is not a step forward

I'd like to think last season wasn't just lucky for him. He's certainly not doing his job under MM whether that be because he's not being used the right way or he's just not good enough for this level.

I'd like to see him used on the wing as his work rate is second to none. He can use his speed there. Put him on the right, Currie on the left and Virgo and Claridge up front. That way we can easily switch to 3 up front.

He's a talent that Brighton have yet to really plan around or play in a proper role.
It's not doing him much good to have hopeful (aka hopeless) balls belted into acres of space while he's marked tightly, or at head height, or on the wide wing, or while he's got 3 defenders to get past with no help - and expect LK to work wonders alone.
Virgo is still an 'apprentice' forward as far as I saw, and doesn't have a tuned-in rapport with Knight that worls for them both. If we had a proper partner with some quick mind for clever flick-ons and return passes into space, then I believe we'd get even better return for that and so would Knight.

It's a wonder how we are doing as well as we are with the single-dimension style of play we have, but full credit to the players and manager for getting these results. They are deserved, but let's not blame Leon all the time for having a different style of play to the 'heads-down and hoof-it' players. He's a player with flair, and I don't know if we really want to exclude them from our game-plan forever in favour of grinding out 1-goal games with resilient defences.

If I were manager, I'd be looking to complement LK and accomodate his game a little more - not flog the bloke or wear him down and stunt his skills.

I'm sure alot is mentioned about Knight not having a strike partner to create him anything etc etc but remember Zamora played a lone role for a long time scoring regularly. Knight will never score as many but the excuse thats always branded about as the reason he's scored only 2 goals is wearing a little thin. Last week he went clean through but his touch let him down again....that wasn't because he didn't have a striker next to him

Zamora had a lone role in the third and second league when we went up he had support upfront you cant play a lone role in this divison as most defences are to good
