Yes, ok, it's hardly "Favre Watch", and I know there will be plenty on here who will wonder "why is anyone bothered about him ...." but don't open the thread then! What else did you think it was going to be about?

Anyway, it would appear he was in the crowd (not hard to spot in an attendance of 59) last night at ......

Ebbsfleet United Reserves vs Witham Town.

Has Paul McCarthy (assistant at Ebbsfleet) reached out to him and is looking to bring him on board in North Kent? Would be a funny one for me if it does happen, as Ebbsfleet are my local team, and due to my son supporting them, I get to quite a few of their games. Also, just about my sons first football releated memory was Leon Knight holding him for a photo at Brighton Racecourse.

It'll certainly be interesting if he turns out for the Fleet.

Can't believe this hasn't been asked before but what I don't understand is why Gus won't give him a trial? He's obviously just the player we need and it won't hurt just to ask him to come down - the other forwards might even learn something from him! We all know he can score goals at this level and, like Zamora, he's bound to have improved as he's got older. Poyet is a genius at man-management with a very forgiving nature and I'm sure he can succeed where all others have failed. Mark my words, our loss will be Ebbsfleet United Reserves' gain.

PS - apologies for writing this in green crayon but they won't let us have metal pens in here.

Shame I didn't spot him on Monday then, as I was there with my kids. Could he not have been there at both, as he was "spotted" there for the ressie game.

Out of sheer nosiness then, why was he at the game(s), if it's not with a view to a trial, as it hardly draws much of a passing crowd.

He was only there Monday we sat in directors
Box in main stand, he was not there last night.

Was there to just have a chat with Liam with a view to play.

But he has other offers. That's about the story

Give it a rest, hasn't he had offers for 'months' yet we're well into the season and he's still clubless. Maybe he should take the hint ?

So out of that incident of him sending you an email by mistake when he meant to send one to me, you're suddenly chums with him and hang out with him at games?

How bizarre.
