How did this latest twitter spat (twat?) start? Seems to be a suggestion that Mrs O'Hara goaded l'enfant terrible of social media. Can't find anything on her timeline but unlike Mr Knight many others delete the odd contentious tweet.

Leon Knight isn't iconic. He's moronic. Get rid.

The whole legends wall was clearly far too hastily put together. They should have got someone like Tim Carder to nominate half the wall, and put the other half to a fans vote. The Complete Badger is right, Guy Butters ought not to be on there. But Leon Knight's penalty doesn't make him a shoo-in either, and of course his conduct since leaving the club has been shocking.

Agree with this. There are some strange choices for legends on that wall. The term 'legend' is overused so often. The Albion wall is a case in point. The likes of Wardy, BZ, etc should of course be there. Possibly even Ronnie Reinelt? Although he didn't do too much else during his time at The Albion, scoring at Hereford was a pivotal moment for Brighton and possibly even saved the club? There's a few players who may not have had extended careers with Brighton but by one single achievement, could justify being a legend? Stuart Storer possibly?

Leon Knight should not be on the wall. By badmouthing the club the way he did plus his consistently twatish behaviour since, he has no right to be classed a legend.

The Albions wall isn't as farcical as that walk of fame down the Marina. Plenty of names there with the briefest of connections to Brighton plus a bunch of Z listers few have heard of.

Simon Fanshawe is a legendary Brighton resident - Apparently? :nono:

If it was just art, surely Gary Hobson, Alistair John and Lawrence Davies should have as much chance of being on there as Bobby, Brian Horton and Mark Lawrenson?

It looks to me like it is meant to be a legends wall (albeit not an official one), but somebody has rushed the selection process and come up with some weird choices.

...

Also, I am not sure who has termed this a "LEGENDS WALL" but my understanding is that it isn't that - it's a piece of artwork commissioned to a local Albion-supporting artist. It features iconic images and players from the club's history, but it is not a wall of club-chosen legends.

saw her in celeb big brother , saw she is a thick tart, ..

You sat and watched Celebrity Big Brother, and you think SHE is thick?

..

I don't know her.

Hating someone on such a sketchy basis seems rather a strong sentiment.

It's only a few tweets so what... storm in a tea cup..

People like yourself need to wake up to the fact that social media is REAL. The words people use are no less powerful typed into an iPhone app, than they are had they been written in a letter, or spoken publically. Its outdated attitudes like yours, that get people into trouble (and prison, if they're really offensive / stupid).

I didn't watch celeb big brother... i watched all the clips that were continuously being shown in the news about the shades of racism... I am against this reality tc as much as anyone.

Ok hate is a strong sentiment however i am not a fan of these girls that go round shagging prem footballers to be famous and make money and quite frankly is she hadnt of been a prem footballers whore would any of us even know who she is?

Pork pie land.
Well, that does it for me!

I have always stood up for the guy, and felt he was badly treated. NO Longer!

That comment is the lowest of the low - surely it is racially offensive and action should be taken. How is it that all hell breaks loose when a white guy is alleged to have made a mildly racist comment, but Rio now the Poison Dwarf can get away with saying whatever they like? f***ing double standards or what?

I don't think anybody would hold it up as an honourable career choice, to be honest.

I think to label somebody a WHORE is out of order.

He's just a dick isn't he.

I've had massive rants before about his wastefulness of potential, his horrendous list of clubs, his numourous sackings, his portrayal of McGhee as the bad guy (when we ALL know now that LK was clearly the one in the wrong)...but I can't do it anymore.

He's just a cock isn't he? I can't even phrase it any other way any more.

He is just a cock who happens to have once been ok at football.
