We decalred with 19 overs left probbaly about 16.45 16.50 - so 70-90 minutes of play possibly lost
Can’t wait until the bowlers get home with their suitcases full of cash and give their team a bit of a hand. If it’s not too much trouble.
I understand but cannot see the point as I would think at 4pm if not earlier it was obvious a result wasnt going to be forthcoming.
As was pointed out, it's actually in the laws of the game, it's not something decided by whim.
Do you think that two football teams should be able call it a draw if no-one's scored after 60 minutes?

But it would seem that timing was outside of the law. as they hadnt entered the last hour unless you include the time between innings.
