Any of the teams down the bottom can get clear with a couple of wins, so nobody could say they are going down for sure, but looking at their form, it doesn't bode well does it!

All seems to have gone off the rails since the owner's death in the helicopter crash. Sold key players (Mahrez, Kante etc ) without replacing them.

Just from an outside point of view

They made a big mistake not getting rid of Rodgers last year. He’s not wanted to be there for ages and consistently publically tried to get the sack in interviews and they’re totally rudderless now.

I think they’re in massive trouble. Most of the others teams have shown some fight in recent weeks to get out of it except for them and West Ham. It would be very funny if the current bottom three remained that way at the end of the season.

Tielemans, ndidi, barnes are adequate replacements.

Manager is just a bit outdated.

Also no Schmeicel. I remember seeing him when they won the Championship and thought he was absolutely outstanding.

Their change of ownership has clearly been very punishing. They’re focusing on redeveloping one of their stands (like Palace?) and their squad looks very thin indeed. They can score but they concede bucket loads.

Was chatting to a Leicester fan in the bar while the Chelshit match was on. He reckons they're going down for sure. No steel in the team, soft as putty. The owner's businesses took a massive hit during covid, the Asian duty free stores, so they can't throw money at the problem.

They dont have any stands, their ground is literally a bowl. And none of it needs redeveloping?

They have planning permission to increase their capacity to 40,000 by extending one stand by 8000 seats. They also want to build a 6000 seat arena and other developments around the area such as a fan zone. Work has not started yet and you do wonder if it will given the prospect of relegation and what seems to be happening financially behind the scenes at club.

The owners pulled in the financial strings last summer to do honourable thing on FFP, unlike a host of clubs eg Everton, AbuDhabi, Chelsea, Forest. Key players one way or another have gone.

Whoever the manager is next season, I think they’ll address squad quality this summer.

All season, just don’t seem to do clean sheets.

The inside is incredibly tatty.
I doubt there are 2 seats next to each other that are exactly the same colour.

I struggle to imagine Mr Bloom ever looking out on his stadium in anything but a perfect condition.

Everton should be getting some sort of points punishment if the FFP is a bad as made out, that should see them down.

Southampton are as good as gone as well

So it could be one space, think Leicester have enough to stay up

i very much doubt the prem will act in a timely fashion by imposing a points penalty this season

Don't overlook the loss of little Caspar Schmeical. No, not for his 'keeping and leadership, but his selfless work helping referees through each match. Decent fans of all other clubs, eagerly await the same fate at Spurs when their 'referees' assistant' Kane retires or transfers out.

Funny article for a number of reasons:-

What makes them think Leicester are rightfully a top flight club in this football hierarchy? Championship at best.

They actually thought the atmosphere at their identikit and part paid for stadium had an atmosphere at some time???!!!

The only issue with clappers was the cost......

They think the Ashburton Army are creating an atmosphere and are the reason for Arsenal's improvement.....

Good riddance to them, what a bunch of weirdos they must be.

Funny reading about mobile ticketing, fan ID at away games, over zealous stewarding, paying for ticket exchanges etc etc. They believe this was the reason they sunk and use it as a warning to others, including us.

We're already there thanks, have been for a while as progress on the pitch has been achieved.

The real reason for them sinking, as with Southampton, is the change in ownership and the change that leads to. They fail to understand that though. Hopefully something we'll not see for a long while.

To be honest, my main takeaway from the article is that it's amazing such an obvious idiot has the motor skills to operate a keyboard.

It is sad for Leicester, and I do have some affinity for them, done a few holidays in Leicestershire and twice done a stadium tour of the Walkers/King Power. It is a hugely impressive arena and is deserving of EPL football but Everton with all their history and huge support are a top division institution and I am glad they ultimately stayed up.
