If you are planning on going to a few, get yourself a railcard (-30%) and use www.splitticketing.com
Had a quick look and found 2 passengers with a Two Together railcard costs £48 total. Might be able to get cheaper if you switch the times about.

It's a sad point you make, and probably some truth in it. I'll be trying to buy tickets because I want to go and watch the Albion play.

I'm on 245 and not particularly worried about missing any away games this season. Plan to do them all and pretty confident I'll be able to.
I have 251, and not overly worried about any game apart from Bournemouth. 1100 tickets will FLY.
