With Leicester on the verge of winning the Premier League, what better time than now to look back at a few memorable games against the foxes.

Anyone got any particular memories when playing Leicester?
pornomagboy might remember this one well! (For anyone that wants to relive the drama - https://nortr3nixy.nimpr.uk/showthread.php?135539-just-back-from-the-leicester-game)

This one, Adam Virgo's first game upfront I believe!

And of course our last meeting, somewhat spoiling their promotion party under Oscar Garcia.

I remember a game in the early 90s at Filbert Street where we all went armed with Peperamis to join in with the infamous Salami chant. Think we went behind early and were 2 down at half time so sat down and ate them dejectedly

Edit - most likely this.

But all time favourite is Stuart Munday and deaf Jimmy Case in the League Cup..

That 3-0 aggregate win in the League Cup in 94/95 when they were in the Premier League and we were in what's now League One.

What a strike from Stuart Munday!

What a ball from Spanish Dave and a great finish from Craig Conway, also Knockaert gets the assist for the Leicester goal!

I remember us losing 4-1 at Filbert St in the 78/79 season. Actually, I remember us losing 4-0 because, for the only time ever, I left 15 minutes from the end and missed Gary Williams late goal.

I had the choice of leaving early to get back to Bradford in time for the pub or leaving at the end of the game and missing last orders. They steamrollered us - we were lucky it was only four - and it was a bit of a no-brainer

A draw vs Leicester where Micky Adams [I think] said each of our players played for the shirt [or word to that effect] . The irony being that we were forced to wear a Leicester kit for the match due to a clash!

I seem to remember a game at Withdean where we were 2-0 down at half time and presumably everyone went home? Expect we lost about 5-0?

Also the league cup game at the Goldstone, (sadly) one of the biggest crowds I saw there.

That was our best performance of the season. They didn't lose another game after that until they'd achieved promotion in April (when we stuffed their hungover team 4-1).

I saw that game when we were destroyed by Keith Weller. Gary Williams' goal was a real cracker from long range as I recall.

The atmosphere in the north after Nogan slotted that penalty away. That night was just amazing.

0-0. The best game of John Sullivan's career. He was brilliant that night

They'll all be overwhelmed with excitement right now, and quite rightly so, as there's every chance of them beating United to take the title this weekend.

Next season is going to be such an enormous anti-climax for them, isn't it? Where on earth could they go from here? They're just never going to better it.

It may seem mean-spirited to ask the question right now, but I wonder what odds you can get on Ranieri to be sacked at some stage next season? Football is so fickle at times, that even the biggest of credits don't last long for managers, and somebody who's worked miracles is frequently ditched as soon as the miracle starts to fade. Will the Thais in charge at Leicester tolerate a less successful season next time around?

(Just curious: I love Ranieri, he's been an absolute breath of fresh air in amongst some of the arrogant buffoons in charge at certain PL clubs).
