Great support and a decent point but should have had all 3. Their keeper and Leicester in general as annoying as ever.

Wonderful response 2nd half.

UTA, safe travels.

You can criticise every critical Gross post you like but at some point you’re going to have to admit the same, it’s staring you in the face every time he plays. He’s not good enough anymore.

Just because someone was good for us 4 years ago, it doesn’t mean he still is and it also doesn’t mean that fans are wrong for pointing it out now.

I think it's pathetic that just because someone was once good enough, some posters think that you can't say he's not good enough anymore

He is good enough, he is just being made to look a lesser player by those around him. Still a good steady player and will always do a job for the team

Let's put our side in context, by using a tape measure
1997 4 1/2 inches.
2011 change to metric 300mm
2017 650mm
present 2.5m
2023 move to a laser level?
problem with this train of thought, expectation is measured in miles

Maybe Welbeck and Lamptey have a greater effect on the game if they come on when the game is stretched?

Anyway, a chance for a bit of a rest from the league now and look forward to the cup game at Spurs. Expect the players need a bit of a rest and hopefully come back with Dunk, Lallana, and Biss available. Maybe even Mwepu.

The other plus is that we've stretched our lead in the table over the Nig31s.

I honestly don't see Dunk or Lallana as automatic choices now . Mwepu has slipped down the pecking order he is now behind Alzate IMO who is great footballer. Biss is probably the only who probably goes straight in and then that would be at the expense of Gross....

Where was this opinion after the Chelsea game?

As have said a hundred times already.

This is the natural churn of a playing squad.
Groß contract has played out to perfection.
When he leaves (assuming it is the summer) it would have been a fantastic deal for all concerned.

Quite why that has to become some kind of spiteful dig in the manner of 'get rid' the moment the final whistle is blown, I just do not know.

All a bit scummy really.

Another hugely disappointing draw against a shit team that we should have put away comfortably. Every game is the same. We dropped 4 points against a shit, tired, out of form Chelsea team. We failed to punish Arsenal, Newcastle, Norwich, West Ham and numerous other sunday league teams. Might as well leave Potter and Reid in permanent self-isolation and get in someone who can coach the players to score now and again or who can buy a striker who scores.
So ****ing depressing week after week.
