Having just tried Salvia which I can only describe as 'interesting' and previously some of these other so called 'legal highs' I have to say that a lot of them are pretty potent and are probably worthy of getting classified ala' Mushrooms.

With Methodrone in the press alot recently I wondered were people stood on the issue, Harmless fun or something a bit more serrious?

Thoughts?

Have a wank while throttling yourself, that's a good legal high.

Paula Yates might say otherwise.

Salvia is horrible stuff but this Mephedrone I can understand the appeal over. It seems EVERYONE is at it at the moment and it's dirt cheap and very moreish.

HOWEVER reports of people DYING from it seem a little concerning. Given that, to my knowledge, nobody has ever died directly from taking MDMA and yet it remains strictly Class A you'd have to say Mephedrone (or Meow as the kids are calling it) is not going to remain legal for long.

Personally I prefer it to MDMA as it doesn't taste so horrible, costs considerably less and doesn't make me sick BUT if it gets banned and the price starts creeping up I should imagine it'd get pretty boring pretty quickly.

You can buy big tins of Glucose powder from Boots and if you sniff enough of that your heart starts racing. If you want a cheap and legal high why not give that a go?

people who do any of this shit, legal or otherwise need to get a life or risk losing it. f*** em all

Nice one :shootself

I think everything should be legal for over 18s personally, it's none of the government's business what one does or does not take, but advice should be given as to relative harm after sufficient testing.

Although this statement is a bit harsh I do not understand why the f*** you would try Meow seeing as NO ONE really knows the impacts. You cannot put alcohol and tabacco in the same league because we all know the effects of these drugs.

Taking a plant food with unknown consequences really is dicing with death.

I completely agree, have done methadrone but people doing it by the bucket load (literally) need to have a serious think due to the fact that it so new and we have no idea about longer term effects. The whole plant food thing to my knowledge is of no bearing I think it is just a way for it to be sold legally on the internet.

It amazes me that people take these when they have no idea what is in them.

It's not plant food Wilko. The manufacturers just say that so the substance doesn't have to undergo rigorous testing required to make any drug legal or otherwise. Mind you, it'd be interesting to see how plants respond if you fed 'em a load of mephodrone. Not particularly well, I would wager..

True indeed. I am not anti-drugs, if anything I think the government should look to legalise a safe* high to stop people dicing with death. I think I heard today that it will be illegal as from 27th April.

* I understand that any drug will have side effects for some.
