Absolutely pathetic. £2000 ? What the f*** is that sort of a punishment. Be interesting to see what happens to Bury now for fielding an illegal player in the FA Cup. They should expect no more than that.

Well the rule makers are certainly going to get people sitting up and taking notice with punishments like that.

Do you think they came up with £2000, and then thought, perhaps they were being too harsh, so decided to be generous and suspend half of it. "Now don't do it again, or that's going to be another one thousand of your English pounds that you must find."

Aren't the details of the specific case that one of the loan players was a non-playing substitute and Leeds actually lost the game anyway?

Or should we ignore the facts, remember that is dirty, dirty Leeds and hand them a 20 point deduction?

probably the main influence on the decision, since they didnt actually field 6 loan players.

Yes, that's exactly what we should do.

When they gave the news out on TalkSport, they said it was because they had "fielded 6 loanees". I thought they said loonies, but then decided it couldn't have been, cos they normaly field more than 6 loonies a game.

Stwattwattwattwathorpe got fined 5k for not feilding enough 1st teamers in a JPT game, a game which they won anyway.

It's the same principle so how come the smaller club get the greater fine? ......mmm I wonder

and why the f*** does stwattwattwattwathorpe come out like that when I wrote scu nthorpe?

Well presumably Leeds can afford a better lawyer than Scunny.

And cuddly Uncle Ken Bates has always had his mates at the FA, end of.

It wasn't the FA, it was the FL who passed the punishment.

Mawhinny and his pals rather than Barwick and his buddies.
