How can Leeds still keep buying. It is well over £1 million in this window, but only a couple of months ago they knocked the St Johns Ambulance for £160 in their liquidation. The business laws in the UK stink and with good lawyers ethics go out the window and the little man loses.

Haven't a clue how they are doing it, next year I am going to ask them to complete my tax return.

it's not well over a million, think we only paid a fee for four of the players that came in this window. there are plenty of wealthy businessmen in and around leeds who want the club to do well and are able to give investment with no strings.

Perhaps that investment should have been used to counter Leeds' deficits, rather than antagonise people by buying more players.I'm sure the taxman would be interested in such investment (splashed on rubbish,I should add).

Go to Jail,Go directly to jail, and do not collect your £200.

Oh,and treble that points deduction, though with the excellent new manager it won't be necessary.

why is there no transfer embargo until they clear their debts or at least only offer a penny in every pound

The rules are a joke, their club is a joke and benefitting from being in a really shit situation

how can this club be millions and millions in debt and still be allowed to splash out half a million here and there on players, but not pay up police, ambulance bills etc

the taxman have no business being interested now, they tried to take the club to court over the cva and failed because they did not have a case. rightly or wrongly (and i am a creditor at leeds and lost out on a significant sum of money last summer) bates played everyone like a fiddle from the fl to muggins here and everyone in between.

the laws and rules are wrong and need changing and i have said as much when it happened and since. the loopholes were there for bates to exploit and he did (and the holes are still there - so it could all happen again to club a, b or c)

Yes,it's all a mystery which perhaps some Leeds apologist or other can explain.

Only reason I've heard is that they are from Yorkshire.

McAllister only took the job on tuesday so he must be taking a real punt on these players he's bought in unless the tranfers were already being negotiated by someone above him. To be honest I'm less than impressed with the players they've signed, they are in freefall at the moment.
