Absolutely. People seem to think nobody gets seriously done over in all this - that it's just a clever way round the rules.

But all the people they owe money get shafted - especially the smaller businesses who can least afford it.

They've done it once before too I'm sure.. all the shareholders had to accept a ridiculous amount for ther shares after the Premiership relegation.

It's scandalous. They should be kicked out of the league and made to work their way back up.

Apart from the fact that many people will lose money because of this decision.....I can see that this blatant abuse of the rules will hang like a millstone around the Leeds players and their supporters for many , many years to come. Look how the country views Leicester.....and who disliked them before their decision to go into Administration? With a club like Leeds, the venom they will face from supporters around the country, and hopefully, all the teams who play them will raising their game.........Ken Bates will hopefully, in the future, make Ridsale look like a saint in the leeds supporters eyes.

i doubt they would take notice, as said before technically no rule has been broken, just bent in favour of leeds

but then if they changed the rules now surley Leeds could sue the FA (as Sheff UTD and Wigan are) for not properly imposing penalties as per the rules,.

i would guess the rules will be rewritten soon to prevent it happening again

To be honest I am amazed a relegated team have never done it before.

I would change the ruling so a team got relegated from the division they were due to be in NEXT season.
