There appears to be absolutely no evidence of any stabbing.

The Sun and Express have spewed up what is on Twitter, however:

'"An object is also believed to have been thrown at the victim who suffered a cut to his chin," a Norfolk police spokesperson said.

A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 14:10 to attend to a patient with a chin injury at Carrow Road football stadium.

"One ambulance attended, and the patient did not require transportation to hospital."

The BBC did it's homework as usual, the tabloids and the internet just published any old sensational shit.

Even if there was no stabbing, the damage has been done, I suspect that Leeds will be out for revenge (although probably only if they lose)

Some Leeds fans need no excuse regardless.

An Albion fan was stabbed by a Norwich fan, I’m sure it didn’t happen at the Goldstone though but along Western Road.
I didn’t know him at the time but did meet him the following year as he was a friend of a friend.
That’s exactly where it happened

Imagine being so brainless that you think “I’ll stab a total stranger because a total stranger stabbed another total stranger wearing my football teams shirt” If so, they’ve done well to get this far in genetic terms!

It would be a pretty insane thing to do in full sight of everyone else at the ground too. No-one would do that, well, Italy maybe.

Most people who stab others turn out to be cowards.

I searched a Norwich forum just to get some insight (just generally it was a blend of condemnation and fear of the second leg)
However this caught my eye..

i was getting on the train that day at Hove about an hour after the game heading west , a train load of liverpool came in from portsmouth maybe or southampton , not sure , trains on both tracks , north bound platform full of norwich , lets just say it went off , there weren't many windows , seats or fire extinguishers left on either train by the time the old bill chased everyone out , went on for about half an hour ....mental...!!

I saw pics of him on twitter with his throat cut and claret all over his white t-shirt. It was mentioned that the perpetrator and his associates were chanting Galatasaray. A Norwich fan commented that he had video of the victim getting lairy at a previous match. No evidence was produced though.
Edit: it may have been a cut chin rather than a cut throat, as suggested above.

Nobody got their throat slashed, nobody was stabbed. Apparently it may have been a key that was used. The person attacked didn’t want any further medical attention and went home. The whole things ridiculous.
