Was thinking the same the other day. I hope the Swans can hang onto him and 'do a Toshack' into the Prem. It's about time there was some Welsh interest in the top division to spice things up a bit.

Be funny to see Swansea above Cardiff in every department.

That Nathan Tyson is scoring freely too, I hear he wants a move in January

I'm quite surprised nobody in this division went in for him. He'll cost a pretty penny now.

They did - Cardiff. Wycombe turned them down. Tyson threw his dummy in the corner and said if they don't let him go in January, he'll leave for nothing at the end of the season.

No way could we afford him now unless we flog someone else for a million. Someone will snap him up in January.

We did. Agreed terms with him too, then Wycombe significantly increased their asking price. Can't remember the figures, but I think the initial fee was something like £250,000, but they changed their minds and suddenly wanted £400,000. Something like that anyway.

I'm not convinced by Trundle to be honest - I'm sceptical about his lack of pace.

I suspect he's not good enough for the Premiership but could do a good job in our division with the right service. But the truth is that most Championship clubs simply don't have the money to take a chance on him. I suppose Reading are the exception having bought Leroy Lita.

Trundle isn't actually all that slow. It's just his name that colours everyones judgement. If he was caled Lee Shitoffashovel he'd be playing at a higher level.

:lolol:

Brilliant!

Trundle always used to have a problem with his weight, but it looks like his manager has got him into shape. He hasn't looked fat since Jackett took over.

Could he do a job at a higher level? I'm not so sure. But he certainly looks sharper in the highlights that I see now that he's not wobbling a fat gut about the place.
