On his day michel is one of the best shot stoppers in this division but of late hes been responsible for some silly goals and i feel this is partly because he knows tht honestly micky is never gna drop him for sullivan, so if a quality experienced keeper, such as lee camp, came in it might wake him up a bit, also hawkins needs dropping, virgs should be playin at the back wit tommy elphick not on the right wing

Think we need another keeper and Camp is a good shout. Kuipers has been brilliant but his form last three weeks sinec Man City has been a bit ropey. Competition, at the very least, will give him drive to fight for his place. At the moment he doesn't need to.

My point is that the type of keeper we can afford is likely to make mistakes too. I do agree though that real competition might be good for FDM.

Well presuming this isn't total shite Camp is a much superior goalkeeper to Kuipers. Not worth getting an unknown championship/premiership reserve though.

I've seen Camp play a couple of games and he was very good, but that's nowhere near enough for me to make a reliable judgement on his abilities. You could choose two of FDM's best games and think him to be Premier standard...pick two of his worst and he wouldn't make Conference South! Why is Dowie not playing him at QPR?

QPR ready to sell goalkeeper Camp
Lee Camp
Camp has been overlooked for a first-team place this season

QPR sporting director Gianni Paladini has confirmed that out-of-favour goalkeeper Lee Camp can leave if another club comes in for him.

Camp, 24, has lost his place to summer signing Radek Cerny and is keen to play first-team football.

"I understand his position and we won't stand in his way,” said Paladini.

"Lee's a good, young keeper but isn't in the team at the moment and he wants to play. If he goes we will want to sign another keeper."

Camp had two spells on loan at QPR before completing a £300,000 move to the club from Derby in 2007.

He is popular among Rangers fans - some of whom chanted his name during Cerny's debut on the opening day of the season.
