I have a free £20 bet myself and want to place it on something league two, so I have something in the league to follow.

In terms of promotion at these odds, where do you think the value is?

Chesterfield - 7/4
Rotherham - 7/4
Port Vale - 9/5
Shrewsbury - 9/4
Torquay - 9/4
Wycombe - 5/2
Bradford - 4/1
Bury - 4/1

I reckon Le Fondre will be off in January, so wouldnt be tempted by Rotherham as once he's gone they arent that special. Personally i'd go for Wycombe.

Just don't go anywhere near Bradford
(actually, as a general rule of thumb thats probably sound advice)

Yeh that is true. Le Fondre is such a big favourite that all the others are brilliant odds. It's just I have to place the £20 all on one event, so betting it on Robinson (14/1), or Lowe (16/1) seems a bit risky.

if its a free bet you might as well screw those and think about betting on league winner Agree Bradford i wouldnt even consider. If you made me stick my £20 on one of those at those prices it would be Torquay but id look at the odds on Chesterfield winning it

My brother, a Brighton fan, lives near Torquay and sees them play a few times each season, and works with a fair few of their supporters. The feel they have a very good chance this year. For me i would probably go Chesterfield though

Shrewsbury will almost certainly choke, so 9/4 is awful value. On a Shrewsbury note, Robinson has never demonstrated being any more than a patchy goalscorer, so that is probably a waste of a bet.

Bury for me. If Kyle Bennett is half as good as brother Elliot, then Bishop and Lowe should score bundles from his service.
