Have you, a member of your family or friends been lucky enough to play on the haloed turf or any other league ground?

I think the Oldham game was 1987, we won 1-0 with a goal from Mike Masters. It was a great experience.

Played cricket at Eastbourne and Bowdon (where Cheshire play)

I've played in a five-a-side tournament at Stamford Bridge - changed in the Chelsea dressing room. I don't know whose peg I used, but he should be honoured.

Way out west
Not football, but I have played hockey at Hartleyvale in Cape Town, a stadium built for an ultimately unsuccessful Olympics bid...easily the best pitch I have ever played on and with a stunning backdrop of Table Mountain.

In April 1970 en-route to a game at Rochdale (which we lost), one of the Supporter's Club Coaches stopped at Old Trafford on the Saturday morning and the groundstaff let us have a look on the pitch as United weren't at home that day. One of the guys on the coach had a ball and we all scored in the Stretford End before being spotted and asked to leave.
Anyone else on NSC remember this?

I once did a gig in Crewe Alexandra's social club. Does that count?
