that's quite local to me, I've been there a couple of times, I like the lunch and I thought that was dirt cheap (£30 odd quid a head?)

don't remember being blown away but each to their own.

Did you have the arse-biscuits ?

You can't be a very good busboy Dwayne if you keep getting sacked from these places.

Different menu at lunch, not had it but fair enough. I thought the "classic" menu was superb, French food at its best. Would also rate this place over Gavroche but as you say, each to their own. www.loranger.co.uk/

I'm with Dwayne. Good spot, particularly for lunch when it's not all that expensive. But I do have a mate who eats there at least once a week and he's just had a quintuple heart by-pass. Possibly no connection... (He's fine; thanks for asking).

A mate of mine went to Le Gavroche over the weekend, and they contrived to bring him the wrong food. You'd be pissed off if that happened at McDonalds. Sat waiting for 15 mins while everyone else tucked in, and eventually the chef (is it one of the Roux brothers?) came out, delivered a very humble apology and talked to them all for 10 minutes.
