Latest Developments... (and a rant about your "Argus" paper)

The Argus headline says "Albion Lose Coppell Battle" on the scrolling headline. Is this more of what was said earlier about a particular reporter who always puts down the Albion at every opportunity? If so, he's a bloody disgrace. Local newspapers are very influential, and RFC is covered up to and around the whole region near to Oxford, Swindon, and London. We even get a bit in the Evening Standard most of the time (we are not a London club but get coverage).

The Argus may not be the greatest representative of BHA, but it really f*cking should be. There is no excuse. Even on September 11th, the Reading Evening Post, said something along the lines of "Horrible Tragedy in New York" and then on the inside cover said "Royals players and fans show their respect for the tragedy". Perhaps too much there, but you get the general idea.

Also, Reading fans have been voting for a next BHA manager if Coppell is to go. No prizes for guessing who now leads the vote. Apologies... I really hope (for your sake) that if Coppell goes, then DK doesn't use this vote as an indicator of the wants of the fans.

Forgive us for not laughing Wilts - frankly Reading FC and their supporters are a pathetic, sanctimonious bunch of tossers.

They haven't even thought about that poll-clearly it's the work of Mandy Snailor and typifies what a shit rag the Arsegas is.

60 quid a year for bollocks like that? f*** off:salute:

Don't worry matey... I've seen your response to it on HNA. Talk about RFC fans (a) getting ahead of themselves before a decision is even made, and (b) knocking someone while they're down (which is easier and a bit cowardly).

Like I say, I'm hardly a bit "fan" of our fans anyway. (Note that it was actually started by a QPR fan who actually talks sense - probably an act of opportunism to help out QPR!).

The Argus really has its finger on the pulse hasn't it? Their poll doesn't even include 2 of the top contenders: Kinnear & Dowie

Dowie would be reasonable. Could we afford Liam Brady with the £100k Reading compensation? Anyone know anything about the Yeovil or Donny Rovers managers?

I still think Bob Booker my be worth persuing.

I've just looked at the candidates and I haven't stopped laughing yet......Gregory......Sanchez.........Hodddle, Hinshelwood.......

Oh Nurse, please, the screens...................:lolol: :lolol: :lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

Dowie is going no where he is a rare breed a loyal manager!!

He hasn't got a contract and Oldham could still be out business in two weeks

what sort of f***ing moron has been voting in that poll then!! maybe its mandy trying to influence dick and send us out the league.

Obviously spam votting by Reading fans having a wind up....yeah, ha ha, excuse me while I recover from split sides!.*yawn*..didn't we do similar some years ago when Orient ran a poll for their new kit, everyone voting for the dogiest? Somehow, I don't think DK & co. will be taking much notice of any oportunist poll by the arsegas.

Looks like Lawrie's family are all voting then.

If it's Sanchez I'll run starkers across the Withdean with my season ticket in between my bum cheeks and deposit it in front of the directors box in protest.

(Ok, maybe just my season ticket receipt)
