Sorry to be thick, is it like one membership covers a number of casinos?

I'm also going out to Vegas for the first time in May for our Wedding anniversary, kids staying at home with the in-laws!
Not sure where we're staying yet, looking at a few (Flamingo, MGM - that kind of price range) for 4 nights. Also looking to do a day tour to the Canyon, so all of this advice you guys are giving is great!
Been there 3 times, once as a meet up place for spending a week in the Grand Canyon and twice for stag nights. Great place for a celebration as everybody seems in a good mood and determined to enjoy themselves. American excess at its best - you'll have a great time. It seemed to me that the hotels and restaurants are subsidized by the gambling so prices were pretty reasonable - and a lot of stuff is free like just walking up and down the strip and taking in the sights like the fountains at the Bellagio. Saw a programme about it on Discovery and they said some of the slots pay out as much as 98% of what they take - so that's how you can play for a while without losing much. One thing that was disappointing is that a lot of casinos no longer pay out a large win on the slots, say $50, in 200 quarters. It just spits out a ticket which you cash in at the cashiers - but you still get the chink chink soundtrack!
Off to Las Vegas on holiday.
Just wondered if anyone have any tips of things to do.
Any help/suggestions appreciated.
Well that depends if you know what you are doing surely? unless it’s rigged to the hilt in Vegas. I’m quite good at a certain casino game quite fancy a go out there one day. Also the other half wants to get married
Spent three odd weeks there in November but stayed off Strip so not as hectic!!
100% go to Red Rock Canyon even if just for the scenic loop drive its absolutely amazing!
Cirque du Soleil show is a must.....all of them are good! O is the best imo but also love Love, Ka not so much and not seen the MJ one.
Venetian Poker Room for poker if that your thing!
Venetian Canal Shops just for the decor and poss a gondola ride, Caesars not too bad as well.
Food ridiculous amount of choices so depends what you after, I actually mainly ate off strip but if you want any specific recommendations I can try and help!
Grand Canyon helicopter tour is great.
Shooting range also fun!
If da ganja is your ting a visit to a dispensary is obv a must!
If you are renting a car(must for Red Rock!) drop me a PM and I can give you a 100% gtd way of getting an upgrade to any car u want!! I had 3 convertibles for the price or a Yaris fyi!!
HTH and sorry if some already covered
Sounds like fun Vegas definitely on the bucket list.Last time we went was for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and had our vows renewed in one of the chapel's with Elvis officiating. It was great fun, they also live stream the ceremony so everybody at home can log in to watch.
I'm there in April
Got a couple of midweek nights in New York New York for peanuts - £50 per night per room + resort fee of about £35 pn pr
then a couple of nights in Tuscany Suites for even less
Do not go there it’s an absolute shit hole. No atmosphere. Not worth it - they used to do one dollar beers but think that’s stopped now. Beers are vile.
If you want cheap gambling go to old Las Vegas Fremont street they all have 5 dollar blackjack. Main strip also does in same places during the week day during the day.
When you get a taxi from airport there are two routes so make sure they take you the cheaper route. Saves 10 dollars straight away.
If you like golf do the Taylor made experience. Group on used to have very cheap deals. We paid 100 for four people 9 holes, two buggy’s and some beers. Also top golf is okay but insanely expensive there.
Would recommend the pool parties for your son ha. MGM is just mad.

As mentioned before, loads of choice for food. I found on the first floor of the Cosmopolitan Hotel a bunch of restaurants including Jaleo. They cook paella in pans the size of tables.

Thank you, probably won’t rent a car, as don’t want the hassle of driving

We stayed at The Cosmopolitan last time we were there. Fantastic hotel. Our favourite restaurant in there was Beauty & Essex.
