I'll kick of with Chris Peacock. 1970s/80s ITV presenter of local evening news bulletin programme Day by Day. Looking at him he looks like a 70s version of Richard Madeley.

Does anyone else spring to mind, presenters, actors, newsreaders etc? Photos will be helpful to jog our memories.

Mike Yarwood was a really annoying fixture on tv for years before he just disappeared

My first thought was Simon Dee. Loved him.

Apologies for this but I really liked Terry Christian, and he really got shafted unfairly for The Word (which I also loved - sorry, good taste police).

There are others....need to give my mind-tank a wobble....

Teen heart throb and all round entertainer Mike Holoway.

Star of 70s SciFi show The Tomorrow People. He was also the drummer in 70s boy band Flintlock. His career highpoint was accompanying Paul Shane on his famous rendition of "You've Lost That Loving Feeling"...

I'm actually going to invite guesses for this one. Appeared in three series of a costume drama and one series of a comedy series as a 'side kick' to the main star. Never to be seen on the tellybox again. My old mate John, known professionally by his middle name and birthplace. I last saw him at a Brighton game.
