Anyone there tonight? How are Tanno and Diego Camacho doing?

Oooh! Good use of the old nickname for the reserves there! I don't think I've heard anyone refer to the reserves as 'the Lambs' since about 1966.

I left after Camacho was substituted (75 minutes)....it was 0-0 then.

How did he look?

I'm only going by what I have seen of photos from last season, but he looks muscular and toned. The sort of physique that makes you mutter "Why can't I be like that?".

Younger than the 33 years would suggest. Slightly sun blushed, but easily retains his natural hispanic beauty and charm. He looks very much like a 'chico' that cares for himself and he is sure to be a hit with the Brighton ladies.

Personal opinion of course, but I thought he looked head and shoulders above anyone else on the pitch, with regards to ability. Played the holding midfielder role very well and always made himself available to receive the ball from our defenders.

He didn,t do much running around...(he didn,t need to, was very capable of making himself a bit of time and space), so not sure about his stamina.

Rarely wasted a pass, and picked out the wide front runners two or three times with long and accurate passes.

So, do you think he is better than Navarro? :jester:

Camacho looked very elegant on the ball - composed and placid. Not sure how he'll fare against League One thugs week in week out. You know, people like Greer.

Who knows...????????????

Alan Navarro was absolutely dreadful for 3/4 of last season, but improved in the last few games of last season.

I didn,t see any of the friendlies or the Swindon match this season, but by all accounts he was much , much better and a shame I was unable to see the improvement before his awful injury.

However, 1/4 of a season playing OK, for what will probably be a two year contract is a more than disappointing return.

From what I,ve SEEN of Camacho and Navarro, think I,d prefer Camacho.
