I bet Liverpool wouldn't mind him in their midfield ATM.
Fantastic footballer.
Fantastic footballer.
I said that to the Bobkin Jnrs while watching MoTD. In all the excitement, I'd missed the fact that he did a goal! That was brilliant but even more impressive HE GOT A SHOT ON TARGET AND SCORED!!!!!
Oh, yes, that's an amazing place. Now I understand @Guinness Boy, and should have twigged given his discerning tastes.I’ve seen him getting coffee from Sugardough in Hove before, on the Kingsway presumably on the way to Lancing.
A fantastic midfield combination as you point out. In terms of back-up, you can swap Groß for Lallana and Gilmour for Mac but we don’t really have that pace, power, all-action back up to Caicedo. I think we may need to do a bit of work in the transfer market in January or next summer. Mwepu might have been the man here but a like-for-like replacement for Biss is something I think we could do with.I think under Potter , he played a lot of games with Gross alongside him. It often didn't work because they were both looking to occupy the same space, and also although both willing, together they lacked the necessary pace to control the middle. Now with Moises, Mac and Lallana the midfield has power, pace and guile. A great combination.
I missed that bit - what was he asked to do?The fact he was asked to take the team (with Crofts) before RDZ tells you enough about his leadership qualities.
He was interim co-head coach along with Crofts.I missed that bit - what was he asked to do?
No he wasn't.He was interim co-head coach along with Crofts.
My bad.No he wasn't.
Andrew Crofts was interim head coach and was assisted by Shannon Ruth, Nick Stanley, Adam Lallana and assistant goalkeeping coach Jack Stern.
The media tried to play it out that Lallana was in charge but that responsibility fell to Andrew Crofts. It was all in the statement on the club website when Potter left.
Interesting. I did hear Webster & Lallana pretty much run the dressing room, do the fines etc
You're not alone I thought i heard the same thingMy bad.
When PB was interviewed around the RDZ appointment, it did sound like Lallana and Crofts were "in chrage of the training" though.
