Was watching the news last night and was quite concerned that the foxhunting group intends to march on the lab conference .. Hope they dont "hijack" our protest and cause trouble ,thus giving us a bad name .

I don't think our protest has a hope in hell of generating the sort of coverage the toffs are going to get.

I think they have to be pre-arranged with the police/council for security reasons so they won't be on our day. You're right about them getting much more coverage than us though. Shame seeing as ours is a local issue. Still, wouldn't mind seeing a few more pro-hunters getting battered on the telly.

Our march will have a good chance of making the national press. There will be loads of press and journalists about the city all looking for a different story to the usual ones about party politics. It really just depends on if anything more important or interesting happens during the day for them to report about apart from us. Lets just hope the countryside alliance stay well away and don't gate crash our protest.

6pm outside the brighton centre will mean we will have a good chance of being in camera shot when the BBC, SKY, ITV C4, etc report live from outside the conference for the evening news. Lets just make sure we make some noise and get ourselves seen on TV that evening.
