Cameron is a joke politician, and certainly no leader. He is little more than a babbling ad-man who bends with the breeze in the face of a Daily Mail society obsessed with their mortgages, knife-crime and Big Brother.

There are politicians with the upper echelons Conservative Party - as there are in Labour - who can stand up and deliver an intelligent point on a given subject, be it economics, the environment, world affairs, health, education etc. Cameron is not one of them. One may agree or disagree with a certain point of view, but one would rather debate with someone like that than a smoothed over smarmpot there to simper at Middle England in order to get votes. Labour had Blair, the Tories have Cameron. Meet the new boss etc.

The proof of that is that in order for Cameron's popularity to go up, all he has to do is basically keep his trap shut.

Labour, equally as as shite, they don't have that smarmpot in their ranks, hence the bad showing in the polls. It's not about politics, it's all about presentation. And Cameron is a triumph of style over content.

Has been 11 years, so it's high time the Tories got in for a chance to f*** it up and embarrass themselves.

They're all as worthless as each other.

I hope so as well.

But I don't have a politician's (and political commentator's) fifteen-minutes-of-fame type obsession about it either. We all have enough worries and fears and happiness and excitement going on without us obsessing about an inner-city culture which is alien to the vast majority of us.

I'm not trying to dismiss the importance of this stuff going on, but I won't live my life in fear just because the newspapers and TV feel that I should because they see it as the news of the moment.

Knife crime ... now there's a thing.

It's a big, big issue in London. So Cameron picks out his favourite man to tackle the crisis. And gets Johnson to appoint him as Deputy Mayor.

What happens? Within a matter of weeks, he's revealed to be a fraudster.

The Tories are all mouth and no trousers on this issue.

Was someone just compairing Tony Blair with David Cameron?!?!! Brilliant! They are in total different leagues.. Blair is a five time European and domestic champion, Cameron has just been relegated bottom of the Ryman having failed to score all season and conceeded an average of 10 goals a game..

Now that's a typical tory/right-wing post right there isn't?
You are completely unable to argue with any semblance of logic, so you'll bring out a completely inane and stupid , scaremongering point

At least Ken Livingston got things done.

He got rid of those shit routemaster buses. I can't believe Boris Johnson made an election issue out of that, the bendy buses are FAR superior. Now everyone is going on about knife crime as the top issue but Johnson is more concerned with a public competition for a bus design to replace bendy buses. Great priorities there. And now his right hand man has turned out to be a fraudster with a string of sexual allegations against him. It really doesn't bode well as far as I can see.

Ken Livingston wasted money, was often arrogant, but he put his career on the line TWICE - firstly he left the Labour party in order to get elected and then again with regard to his congestion charging policy - and that worked a treat. The buses are MILES better now. And good on him for sticking to his guns over that Nazi security guard comparison. That turd of a journalist had been bugging him unnecessarily for months and frankly had it coming.

And then under Ken we also got the Olympics which required cross party talks, and an awful lot of work. I really hope London comes to its senses next time round and re-elects the bloke. It's not like we're giving him tax raising powers is it?
