The problem is NOTHING to do with keepers. The bloody defence seem to be strangers who have no ability to play together. I swear the defence look like a Conference outfit at the moment...

f*** that is bad news. I'm not sure Sullivan did anything wrong necessarily tonight, but Kuipers just dominates his box better and looks more confident.

Agreed.

And when we have a defence where no one is prepared to take charge, especially on set pieces, then a confident keeper is a must.

Been obvious almost from the moment he came through the door hasn't it?

Yes, but like most people I had no idea his family hadn't settled well down here, and will probably put his family first and move back oop north (here's hoping).

Well you can't know the ins and outs of his personal life of course, but to me he's never looked like a player totally at ease in his surroundings. He's shown occasional (very occasional) signs that he is actually a good player but it's never really seemed like it was going to happen for him here.

Joining in with the wandering off into tangents for a mo.

I thought Elphick look totally disinterested tonight. If it weren't for him extending his contract in the week, following his bench warming at Oldham, I reckon rumours would be rife on here regarding Elphick's future after his performance tonight.

Just a thought.

Bring back the Tank ! He was a great organiser of the back four, masterful in the air, just a tad slow on the ground.

Or a more serious note until we sign a loan keeper, who takes the gloves if Sulivan were to get injured during a match?

We really missed Kuipers last night, you could tell the defenders were even more nervous than usual, as he hardly ever came off his line in the first half.
