When contacting Sussex Police, there are a variety of options available, including 0845 607 0999, various on-line routes, including Twitter and e-mail, and a 999 call.
In this instance, as reported, the possibility is that a crime was being contemplated. At the very least, the perpetrator (if he was a criminal) was in the vicinity. Is this an occasion where a 999 call would be the most appropriate?
