What's all this about?

Is it a case a get the stadium and cover the cost at all cost regardless...
or sell the assets now because they're worth nothing with no stadium? Am I missing trick here?

Knight, 22, said: "I've got five months left on my contract until the end of the season and I haven't been offered a new deal yet.

"It's looking like it is going the same way for other players, including me," he added in the Brighton Argus.

Good old Leon. Not only a loose cannon on the pitch....

Is this contract exploitation by dramatisation or BBC Sport putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with crisis?

Worthing
To be fair to the lad at the moment he will be out of work in May.

If I was in the same boat I would be exploring other options.

This isn't "breaking news" though is it. We've known for weeks that the players havn't been offered new contracts yet, and that Leons is up in the summer. He hasn't said anything out of turn there.

Like all of us I'm just frustrated at the lack of communication, the grand plan for the club beyond or even before a stadium decision.

Leon Knight thinks he's a big shot, he counts a lot of Chelsea/Premiership players among his friends for their 'cool' value, and he would shit on us quicker than you could say 'we're skint'. He did a good job for us last year, but has been ruthlessly exposed at the higher level this year and is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is.

Has he? Over the last month plus, he has proved he is quite capable of playing at this level, even more so when the players around him are vaguely competent.

Tell me I haven't just been transported into a parallel universe where it's more socially acceptable to spout bullshit than the facts.

Leon has been a complete no-mark in this division - Bobby got goals, despite injuries. Is this the under-18 vote for Leon?

oooooh unfair me thinks

i mean

1 penalty and 1 goal from open play is hardly a "no mark in this division2

Blimey if he was a no mark then we would find ourselves with a 38 year old up front and a converted centre half as top scorer!!!! Now, how likely is that?:lolol:

Losing a 22 yo with his ability is suicide:angry:
