Brighton & Hove Albion are pleased to confirm the signing of attacking midfielder Reda Khadra, on undisclosed terms.

The 19-year-old joins the club’s under-23s squad from Borussia Dortmund.

Having been developed in their youth system, he played for Dortmund’s under-16s, 17s and 19s and was part of the squad which won the UEFA Youth League.

He has also represented Germany at under-18 level and will join Albion’s under-23 squad.

Under-23s head coach Simon Rusk, “We’re delighted to welcome Reda to the club. He offer a lot of attributes as a player and he can play in midfield or in an attacking role.

“He is very excited to come to England and progress his career and we look forward to working with him.”

By the time he's in the first team we'll be playing Rochdale.

Hopefully he and Zequiri (if he ever signs) will do enough this season in U23's to be potential 1st team squad players next season. Decent additions for the future.

Come on admit it, you were really disappointed to open the thread only to discover it was another one for the future? No? Just me then :lolol:

I did half expect it to be a signing for the women’s team though

He is 19 but looks 39. Stocky and bearded.

One for the future obviously.

Like these two frightening chaps, perhaps? ???

Why are we signing players who aren’t t good enough for Man Utd?
