[NSC] Keyboard disappearing when typing on NSC

I think someone raised this issue before - but I can't find it and don't know if there was any resolution.

When I start typing a message on my iPhone - either posting a new message or replying - the keyboard randomly disappears. Because I'm typing quite quickly, I don't notice this and I end up clicking on adverts. I then have to find my way back to my message to continue. It can happen multiple times during a relatively short message.

I have recorded my screen when typing a dummy message. I think it happened three times on this occasion, including one right at the start. I've uploaded the video to Google Drive and allowed sharing - so hopefully the link below will work for @Bozza and anyone else to have a look. It's making it really frustrating when out and about ... heading to/from games ... when I try to reply to messages.

Can this be resolved?

Bizarrely I’ve managed to type this with no interruptions. I often abort many replies as it sometimes becomes basically impossible. (Maybe it’s only certain subject matters)

Just giving it a go now to see if it’s still happening. All good at the moment. First time I’ve been able to type a full message without the keyboard disappearing a number of times. I wonder if @Bozza has tweaked something

Posting only a few minutes ago, It was so bad I gave up after being interrupted about five times typing a five word sentence. However this is now my third untroubled post in a row

I get the same issue on my iPhone too. Not on every page but certainly was an issue when I was making a post earlier and had to move the cursor to correct something, that is when the keyboard tended to disappear and the advert load as seen in the video above.

Hmmm ... interesting. Well I hope it has been resolved as it's really not been a great user experience for a while now.

Same happens to me with Omsung. Very annoying and often completely unusable on the phone.

Sorry - I've not touched anything for months.

I'm aware of the issue, but regular readers of my posts will be aware of the complications in my life over recent times which make it very difficult to find the time to get to grips with any site setup stuff.

However, I may get the chance tonight - I'll try my hardest.

I've not seen any complaints from @Easy 10 with his BENDY grot phone, so I don't think it's a universal problem, just inferior makes like Omsung and "Apple".

Same problem here. As I said on previous thread, sometimes to enable me to post I type message in my Notes app and copy and paste it.

Sometimes the problem isn't the keyboard disappearing it's the keyboard freezing which seems to be a regular problem for me at least when using my phone

I get the same thing all the time. Has been going on for months now, albeit it seemed to stop for a while but has restarted again. I'm on a Google Pixel Pro mobile.
It's very frustrating and must be some sort of bug to make you click into the adverts.

What's most annoying is if I try my faster middle aged man typing, it closes and I accidentally open an ad. It then takes me off to Screwfix or Amazon.
I have a Chinese Android phone.
