Is there a hint in Naylors Tweet
andyNaylorArgus: Landing Kevin Phillips could just seal promotion for Leicester. Any Championship club would love to have him on the bench, including #bhafc

Nope. He wants to move back up north, so moving further south probably won't help.

No hint.
Phillips is adamant he will go back to the midlands for what will be his last playing role and talk locally is that discussions with Leicester started last week.

Phillips was on Soccer AM last Saturday and said he wanted to play in the midlands but wouldn't mention the club he was linked with.

Yes - a fairly heavy hint that he is on his way to Leicester.

Not for me thanks. I would hazard that he would ask for far too much money than what his current status (well past his best) is worth. But if he wants to head north we wouldn't even figure in his agents plans!

Coud he rejoin Hollowhead at Millwall

That would make as much sense to a player wanting to move back to the Midlands to be with his family as a former Welsh footballer who had a short stay at Withdean deciding to leave Birmingham to go to Blackburn as it was nearer to his family in Wales. On second thoughts...

Have you heard its Walsall??

No but at his age there wont be many clubs in the Midlands willing to pay decent wages to a footballer who can only run about on the pitch for 15 minutes each game before they are completely knackered. Walsall , Chesterfield , Notts County or Port Vale might be the only sensible options. He certainly ain't no Ryan Giggs

Heading back to the midlands, two clubs in for him.
Holloway wants him, but his mind is made up.
Will do a good job off the bench, a proven goal scorer.

Wolves?
His 2 sons were on Soccer AM with him, one is with Wolves ( not sure what age group, but a kids team) I think the other kid is with Derby.

If he goes to Wolves it would only be until the end of the season , they are likely to be promoted so he would be surplus to requirements with them playing at a higher level. He should be able to get an 18 months deal with a League 2 outfit.

Retiring at the end of this season, going into media.

Peter Beagrie did that , signed for Grimsby Town and only made 9 appearances before leaving "by mutual consent" as he had work lined up as a pundit for Sky Sports.

Let's look at the facts soggy shall we . We got him on loan in January to a lot of derision " he's too old ", " he's past it ", " lack of ambition " etc abit like your I'll informed bollocks . What does he do ? Scores nearly 1in 2 and grabs a hat trick against hull , gets us in the play offs , then wins us the bloody thing . He is the ultimate professional who can get goals and important ones at that . Any club would be honoured to have him till the end of the season because he knows where the old onion bag is . In case you've forgotten he is the only Englishman to win the golden boot ( probably ever ) . Thanks Kev , it's been a pleasure to watch you for a major piece of our history .
