Ormerod would be extremely doubtful. But they've probably got a couple of other strikers in their squad (Youths, reserves etc).

Good signing for Saints. As for Ormerod, well he finished last season pretty well and whilst he might not be Premier class he would do well in Division One. Can't possibly see him down here.

People at work are pissing, me off regarding this already. Convinced they are going to do better than last year. I'm not convinced. I also (I accept he scored lots last year) feel that Beattie is well over rated.

The Saints also Parhars to come back, so Ormerod will do well to get a game but I can't see him coming here.

The domino/chain effect that SC is talking about is probably a little more complicated - for example Phillips joins Southanpton, Blackburn get Beattie and we get oh I dunno Ostenstat or someone. Just an example mind.

Phillips was a good player. But after his recent few season I would think that £3 million is overpriced.
