Some good news at last. Kerry is apparently back in full training and could be available early in the New Year. Richards hasn't been as good this season as he was last year, and the holding midfield role has been a problem all season. So we need someone with a bit of maturity and passion. Forget the lack of speed, and when he's back, let's see some support for him this year.

Much as I agree he could do a job as a holding midfielder in front of the back four, we have a number of players that can do that job but what we are missing is another Richard Carpenter type player box to box midfielder. Is he better than we have simple answer No.

This must be a wind up surely? Anyone who thinks that Mayo has a future at this club badly needs a lobotomy.

wouldnt even want him holding the kit bag let alone our midfield!!! If Kerry coming back is something to get excited about then we are really in the shit.

Come on now chaps, it's the season of goodwill to all men, and I for one am more than happy to wish Kerry a Merry Christmas and a fat new contract.
