No way. Wells topped the averages last year and has been talked of as an England player and Van Zyl is a test player with a first class average of 44
I remember in the mid-70s when we had the likes of Jerry Morley, John Barclay, Jerry Groome, Mark Faber, Peter Graves and Austin Parsons in our batting line-up - none of them had a batting average above 30. That's when Sussex were really bad
