According to the papers Keith Gillespie has fallen out with Sheff Utd would he be a viable option for us.

I personally think not as he is too much of an out and out winger that we do not need as opposed to amidfield playmaker but what are other peoples opinions

He is only 33, same age as Darren Currie and if he was a central midfielder/ ball player I would say yes chase after him but he is an out and out winger and I do not think that we need another one in that position.

Only 33

I thought he was well older than that, he seems to have been around for ages

Think he might be out of our league on wages.

According to papers he was fined a weeks wages £6000 on Saturday for his outburst that has resulted in him being released. So perhaps not that much more than our top earners.

Why do we in any way require the services of fly-guys like Savage and Gillespie? How on earth does that build for the future? Are we really that short of ideas that we need either of these shits in the dressing-room influencing the younger players? What IS this FFS? The World Backward Stepping Championship? ???

I would have thought that you would have realised that we need some experience and ability in midfield sometimes and not have to rely on young players all of the time. MAs previous promotions were built on bringing in experienced men that could do a job for this season and worry about next season when we are promoted. The cost of this is not our concern as supporters, that is for Uncle Dick & Co to sort out.

You keep saying that and ignoring the fact that they've yet to find the money for one of these overpriced old stagers to sign for any length of time so it does become our concern doesn't it as we just don't sign them
