With a string of internationals and under 23's plus the odd first teamer playing in the cup B team, how does CH go about keeping players like Ali J, Burn & Gyokeres happy. All of them could walk straight into a championship side. We all know that should we reach Wemberleee the first team would be playing so what does he promise them?

Jahanbakhsh should now be walking into our Premier League side, let alone a Championship side.

30K a week in wages for the next 3-4 years, probably.

It's up to them to demonstrate that they're worth those wages and are good enough to make the match day squad.

At least they’ll have another game soon against FL Derby.

Burn seems like he understands his position so no problem there. Ali J will be back in / around the first team now he seems fit.

Gyokeres I think needs more development, looked ponderous at times last night and a few basic mistakes. I'm sure he'll be happy being in / around the first team but regular U23 involvement

Not only those 3, but Bong/Bernardo. Balogun, Burn, Kayal, Knockaert, Andone...........

One of the skills required by a top class manager

They need to be making sure every time they get an opportunity, they are giving CH a real selection headache. I'm not sure enough of them did in the two games against WBA.

Treat them with respect, give them an opportunity when you can, be honest and let them know if they are players that are only going to get a game in the rarest circumstances, or players that you feel are just being edged out by others at the moment.
There is not a lot between all our wingers, and all will be on the bench in some games and start in others. Balogun is probably going to need a pep talk today, he must be thinking he has slipped behind Burn now.
