At the end of the day, Hawkins had a solid start last season (and had some of NSC's finest hailing him as our best signing for ages) and fell out of favour after a few carastrophic mistakes - which were individual mistakes rather than shocking all-round performances.
I spose it says a lot that he left the scene completely under Slade and Adams, but if you really think he's that bad an option as a SQUAD player, then I think you're slightly delusional about the sort of club we are.

I Think Jamie Smith looked very good at Huddersfield, it was rather harsh on the lad to be subbed off.

Hawkins IS that bad. It is just some Brighton fans try to hail any new signing as a world beater.
