Just two points off top spot after nine games

If I was told before the start of the season that we'd be just two points off the top spot after nine games I'd have gladly taken it.

Doesn't this put our overall performance so far this season into some perspective and show that we are actually doing OK?

Exactly this. One sh*t game doesn't make a season. Will be interesting to see how we respond at Ipswich on Saturday. I've a strong feeling we will WIN.

3 Massive games in less than a week... not really that surprising that we were so dire last night.
We need to bounce back quickly. Last night must NOT be the defining moment of this season

clearly not... we are obviously miles better than anyone else in the country and shouldn't be in the play offs... we should be 10 points clear playing barcelona type football and lording it over every other team in this league..

Jesus christ guys... we aren't that bigger club... get a reality check... we are doing unbelievably well at the moment. yeah we lost to the scum and it hurts, but by looking at some of the threads on this board you would think we are bottom of league 2 or something!!! - Cheer up, it can't all be roses all the time, we will lose, we won't win every game....

Some of the expectations at this club are seriously deluded.

We're not in the play-offs (noticed somebody else used that term earlier also) we're in the play-off positions with a very small part of the season played. At the risk of stating the bleeding obvious, there's a very big difference.
